Wogmin Thubten Shedrup Ling
The monastery of Wogmin Thubten Shedrup Ling was founded in Tibet by the great Drikung Kagyu tertön and tantric master Nuden Dorje. In 1971, after returning to India from Ladakh, Ontul Rinpoche purchased a parcel of land on the sacred lake Tso Pema to found a new Wogmin Thubten Shedrup Ling monastery in exile. This is the center of Ontul Rinpoche's activities. The monastery has some 50+ monks, ranging from 5 to 75 in age, with many of them being orphans and poor refugees struggling for support.
